www.PeteWilliams.com.au $1000000 in Property in One Year – Steve McKnight The follow up to Steve McKnight’s best-selling book From 0 to 130 Properties in 3.5 Years, which has sold over 100000 copies, arrives in a dramatically different marketplace. $1000000 in Property in One Year takes the theory outlined in his first book and applies it to the latest ’soft’ market conditions. As such it stands alone as an excellent resource that is relevant for both new investors and also those wanting to climb to new heights. The title for this book is derived from the Millionaire Apprentice Program (‘MAPPERS’), a private mentoring project author Steve McKnight ran for a small group of investors which began in August 2003 and finished a year later. Coming from a diverse background with varying degrees of experience, the MAPPERS were put through an intensive training regimen wih the goal of acquiring a (gross) million dollar property portfolio in 12 months. Not just any property would do – it had to be purchased according to a plan for it to make money immediately. Without wanting to spoil the ending, a significant number of MAPPERS managed to achieve the stated goal despite the deteriorating investing climate, proving that the right person with the right training and investing system can achieve massive results in a short amount of time when the odds are stacked against them. Steve’s three goals for writing this book were to provide the reader with 1. A comprehensive understanding of …

It might be cliché, but it’s oh so true: every person can stand to learn something from someone else, no matter who it is.
Based on this premise, mutual mentorship is an alternative to the traditional mentor program, allowing for a two-way experience of giving and taking knowledge. This style is specially applicable to groups of people with a large age gap. For example, a very experienced businessman can stand to learn from a techy entrepreneur, and of course the younger can learn from the senior’s vast knowledge and experience. Mutual mentorships can also apply to people of relatively the same age, ability, and experience, but approach concepts, tasks and problems from the opposite ends of the spectrum.
Great Mentorship Style for Large Organizations
An organization with a big number of members or employees can stand to gain the most from this kind of mentoring, specially if it is executed well. Aside from the great savings made from alternative training, mentoring or coaching methods (like seminars and conferences), it promotes a sense of community. Mutual mentorship forces people to talk to others who they would never have approached under other “normal” circumstances. Happy people make a happier and more productive collective identity.
Playing Matchmaker
For mutual mentorships to pan out well, great care must be taken. It can be a little like dating–pair two people without “chemistry” and it could lead to disappointment instead of a massive growth opportunity. There must be some similarity or common ground so that the two can connect, but they must be different enough so as to balance each other when dealing with stressful situations. If for example, the numbers for each side are not equal, the ratio should be as even as possible so as not to lose the intimate nature of mutual mentorships. And if, by some chance, pairings or groupings should fail, a rotation of partners could make better matches.
